OUR STORY
Masa Kudo (1982)
Masa Kudo, a master Japanese chef, moved to Arizona in 1982 when Scottsdale old town was developing rapidly and becoming recognized globally. Masa was known for his homemade sauces and signature dishes. Many local residents had their first experience with authentic ramen noodle dishes at Kyoto restaurant. Kyoto was known throughout the area for its delicious Japanese cooking using only the freshest herbs and special imported spices for their sauces and soups. The old ways are still the best.

Kyoto Ramen Noodles
Kyoto’s traditional Ramen dishes uses fresh authentic ramen noodles in our special savory rich broth with your choice of sliced teriyaki beef, smoked chicken breast, or pork tenderloin topped with green onions, julienne carrots, slivered bamboo shoots, narutomaki, and ajitsuke egg.

Kyoto’s special tonkatsu soup base, featuring authentic Japanese ramen noodles served with slivered bamboo shoots, julienne carrots, chopped green onions, narutomaki, and ajitsuke egg. Topped with sliced hickory-smoked chicken breast. Simple, healthy, and delicious!
Ramen Express (Beef)
Kyoto’s savory tonkatsu soup base, featuring authentic Japanese ramen noodles served with slivered bamboo shoots, julienne carrots, chopped green onions, narutomaki and ajitsuke egg. Topped with sliced teriyaki beef. Rich, hearty and satisfyingly delicious!
Ramen Express (Pork)
Kyoto’s special tonkotsu soup base featuring authentic Japanese ramen noodles served with slivered bamboo shoots, julienne carrots, chopped green onions, narutomaki, and ajitsuke egg. Topped with delicious marinated pork tenderloin slices. Tasty and hearty!
